So, Nick reminded me that this thing still works. I am amazed. I thought that if I stopped coming here it would disappear, like a dream, because I am the Dreamer and when I go away everything poofs out of existence. Poof! There it goes. Not that I'm saying I wanted this to disappear, I just more or less forgot about the site. Well, the fora anyway. I use the site to download the and to remind myself about the Vent port.

Oooh, sorry, I can't tell you what I've been downloading because it has to do with - well I can't tell you, it's a special, secret surprise we have concocted up for all of you. And holy crap, I spelled concocted right in one go. Whee me!

So, you ask, what's been going on in my life? Because I am totally important to you and junk. Clearly. Anyway, I am glad you asked. So far, not much interesting has happened. My job from last summer that I mentioned went well because I had a supervisor who had no idea what I was doing and never checked up on me. I got the project done, of course, but I cut it close. I have to say that I was quite impressed with my skills at overcoming obstacles and gathering and using resources. These skills are ones I am carrying into my current project - Civ 4 Modding. As well as, well I can't tell you the other thing. But rest assured, it's going well.

This semester has no programming courses, just math. I thought all of it would be easy but apparently Analysis is going to be a bit tougher than I reckoned. Well, if I actually could keep my integrals and derivatives straight, maybe it wouldn't be. Dumb mistake there. And I had to miss a class from a sudden onset of illness, which is never fun.

Next semester shall be my last, probably. I will then graduate and get a normal day job. Hopefully my experience will be enough to land something.

Now, on to news about the site! We've had a lot of people frequenting our Ventrilo server. Well, Ian's Ventrilo server. Still, there hasn't been much activity here. Which is mostly our fault anyway. We should try to get some people interested in our community and use this site chiefly as a community resource center and communication forum. And maybe we could get some people playing MMOs together and have raids and stuff! That's the dream, kids. That's the dream.
